Silly Kaepernick putting his helmet on Sammy! Don’t you know he’s got a permanent helmet? He’s probably as anxious to avoid a tackle as you and your teammates are!
We here are tort-time are trying not to focus on the article itself (SHAME on you USA today! ) and instead focus on how awesome Sammy is. Unlike USA today and the commenters on the San Francisco Chronicle article, we think its awesome that 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has a pet tortoise. I bet he’s got a nice yard to graze and love that Kaepernick shared his love for his tortoise with the media.
Don’t listen to those journalists, this isn’t a fad.. owning a tortoise or turtle takes effort, and these animals are just as worthy of attention as any of your celebs/athletes cats or dogs.
