The Louis Robidoux Nature Center has set the Turtle and Tortoise End of Hibernation Celebration for Saturday, June 22, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will include the California Turtle and Tortoise Club Inland Empire Chapter, live exotic parrot exhibits, music, turtle crafts, nature walk, and a California Desert Tortoise, African Red-eared Slider Turtle, Box Turtle, three-toed Box Turtle, Russian Tortoise, Sulcata Tortoise, California Western Pond Turtle and more.
Hawaiian dancers will perform at 1 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their pet turtles and tortoises to share. Take a picture with a Ninja Turtle.
Cost is $3 per person. The center is at 5370 Riverview Dr., Jurupa Valley.
