About Phoebe, The Great Almighty Om!
Phoebe is a lovely girl who is about 9 years old and was rescued alongside George in March ‘13. She is a western hingeback tortoise (kinixys belliana nogueyi) and is part of a breeding pair as she lives with George. She is not as friendly as george, but does love the occasional head scratch. She likes her food and bosses George around – she is a woman who gets what she wants! She’s bigger than geoge at 1200g and has a lovely shell pattern. She can be very shy and likes to sleep.
