Another update from Corbie the psych Tortoise! He predicts England will win against Croatia today!

We have to tell you, Corbie, we really hope you’re wrong! Humom is part Croatian and we are rooting for them to go all the way!

One of us will be getting lots of celebratory world cup noms today! One way or another it’ll be a WIN for the Turtlpocalypse!

Zoya has dreamt of playing in the world cup since she was a tiny tort! She’s been working on her goalie skills and toughening up her headbutt by sliding off the top of her log and faceplanting in the dirt below. I’m trying to be supportive so I yell “GOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL” every time she lands.

Zoya is playing along with this #WorldCup Semi Final!  ¡Vamos Argentina!

(Thanks for the heads up anon!)

Fun fact: Zoya’s grandma was born in Buenos Aires and had an argentine tortoise from age 5-21. Her name was Colita and stories of her awesomeness were passed down from grandma, to humom, to Zoya pants.

A late #ThrowBackThursday (well Friday now) #WorldCup edition!

4 years ago, while living in Surrey, UK, Zoya got swept up in the #WorldCup excitement.

She was quite skilled with the ball, but there were some issues when it comes to hands and tortoises. She felt FIFA rules were unfair when it comes to tortoises (They’re all feet!)

I tried to make her feel better by yelling GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLL every time she got the ball in her log.
