Always the #TortoiseTaxi never the passenger
I went a little extra on this prompt and did the theme ‘turtle’ in traditional and digital (I prefer this one over the digital one). I definitely like the vibe of this a lot but I would change a couple things for sure like dimensions of the picture and crisper details. I practiced my sea foam though, which is always a bonus when painting waves! This is for @artchallengegame January art challenge.

Ranger Mel could you tell us more about that very polite looking snapping turtle?
His name is Snips and he is three. As snapping turtles go, he is very polite. He can climb out of his feeding tub if he wants to but he generally does not if you are timely about giving him worms. He usually just props himself up over the side and watches patiently until you feed him.
Most snapping turtles are terrible program animals but he’s pretty manageable as snappers go. However, adult snapping turtles regularly reach 35+ pounds and Snips is outgrowing his tank, so we will probably have to release him this year. He is a very talented eater so I think he will be very good at being a wild turtle, but I will miss him.
To brighten your day, here’s a picture of my turtle throwing a rave.

Seniors have had a rough year with the covid and loneliness. Since we have quarantined with our seniors, I help them get around to visit their friends.
