One of my little water dogs (Dwarf African mud turtle, or Pelusios nanus). Maybe my favorite turtle that we have. Whenever I open the door, I hear them running to the edge of their pool, begging for food. Can’t be beat.
They’ve been laying a couple eggs, but none so far in the nest box unfortunately. Just in the water, then cracking them open. Hopefully we’ll catch the next clutch.
