Han the gopher tortoise had some more watermelons today! Hes such a sweety, always meeting me halfway and coming when called upon lol. That’s his hovel there in the back, he heard my music on the patio and so came outside to stare until I noticed him. Han always takes his watermelons from your hand, and hes very careful, Leia prefers you leave them for her.
The painted buntings have been hanging out around him lately too, and one of the squirrels, Cody, he’s gotten into watermelon as a preferred snack and has been nabbing Leia’s extras. I love my wild yard tortoises and squirrels and birds 🙂
