Turtle Survival Alliance:

This beautiful little Southeast Asian Box Turtle (Cuora amboinensis)
was hatched here at the Turtle Survival Center!

A native of mainland and
island nations of Southeast Asia, the Southeast Asian Box Turtle has
seen dramatic declines in the wild primarily due to wholesale collection
for the food, pet, and traditional medicine trades. At the TSC we have a
small assurance colony of adults as part of our efforts to preserve the
Cuora genus.
