Following up on that kitty-and-tortoise gif…. This is what happened when my cat Willow discovered my tortoise Higgins.
FYI to fans of tortoises: don’t keep them in aquarium tanks. They’re too small, not well ventilated, and torts don’t understand glass.
A proper tortoise hab needs to be about 10sl x 5sl. SL is “shell length.” If your tortoise has a shell 6” long, the hab needs to be 60”x30” – and most tortoises get CONSIDERABLY LARGER than 6 inches.
